Tiers View offers charmingly comfortable hosted bed and breakfast accommodation in beautiful, air conditioned large en-suite rooms (under-floor heating in winter in en-suites and sitting room) in the heart of the Adelaide Hills.
We have spectacular views of the rose gardens, lawns, paddocks and ranges from the Oak Room or, if you choose the Garden Room, an outlook onto the garden courtyard and orchard paddock above. All rooms have Crabtree & Evelyn accessories, fluffy air-dried towels and sumptuous linen. All linen is laundered on-site and air-dried before being steam ironed with perfect creases.
Relax in the adjacent private guest sitting room with wood burner and under-floor heating in winter – we do intend to keep you warm and cosy in the cooler months! Enjoy original Australian landscape artwork by local artist Richard Rogers.
Breakfast is a treat - relax and enjoy your breakfast served to you in our dining room and including homemade preserves and marmalades, croissants and greek yogurt. Local produce goes into the traditional breakfast including gum-smoked bacon from our local butcher, English pork sausage, poached or scrambled eggs, fresh grilled tomato, local mushroom and Nick's homemade bread which is delicious spread with local raw honey. And with fresh eggs from our own hens what more could you ask for! Cluck cluck! Filtered rainwater makes a great cuppa.

Tiers View is set into an escarpment with panoramic views of the Mt Lofty ranges and a huge sky.
There are 21 eco-friendly walkable acres with many magnificent ancient red-gums, remnant forest and a 2-acre pine forest full of birds. Well - these were my words pre December 2019 and the devastating bushfire. We still have 21 acres and most of the red-gums are there, but the pine forest has all but gone having been cleared in March 2021. The two acres it stood on is now home to a revitalised grass paddock! All paddocks and fencing has been restored with new trees planted to replace those lost in the fire.
The gardens are divided into native and an English garden with camellia, roses and lavender in season and thousands of agapanthus in December/January. Peaceful and serene with abundant birds, wildlife, and lambing usually in May/June.
There are two farm dams with yabbies, Heron, Ibis, spoonbills, Cormorant and ducks. Perfect views of the night sky - see the stars! No traffic - no street lighting - wake up to birdsong! We are an environmental-friendly B&B, using our own rainwater, generate our own electricity from the array of photovoltaic panels, cut our own timber for the woodburners, have waste-water reclamation back onto the gardens and we recycle nearly everything and what we don’t, the chooks do!
An architecturally-designed interestingly-different lodge, the bed and breakfast accommodation has been rigorously designed. Your hosts, Mo and Nick, have exacting qualifications and have hosted safe and secure bed and breakfast accommodation for 26 years both in the UK and Australia. They will make your stay at Tiers View Bed and Breakfast in the Adelaide Hills a very positive experience.
Why the name Tiers View? Named as a compliment to the early settlers and "tiersmen" who viewed the Adelaide Hills as "tiers".
We hope our website has given you an idea of who we are and what we offer - but if there is anything you would like to clarify please do not hesitate to contact us!
